Mental Health Information
Our Mental health is just as important to look after as our physical health. We all go the doctors when we feel sick in the stomach or the dentist when we have a sore tooth, but we sometimes forget to take notice of when we are feeling down or tired or irritated. The mental health information page will help you understand some important things about looking after our mental health and starting to recognise the signs of mental illness, not only in ourselves but other people.
- Bipolar Disorder
- Eating Disorders
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Self Harm and Self-Injury
- Suicidal Thoughts
It is very important to remember that thoughts about harming yourself or suicide are just thoughts. They do not mean you have to actually harm yourself.
If you are feeling suicidal it is very important to seek immediate help, preferably by a mental health practitioner.
