the headspace youth access team (YAT) is the assessment service of ycentral and they are the people to talk to if you are wanting help.
what sort of things can we help you with?
the headspace Youth Access Team is made up of youth health workers including Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses and Youth Mental Health Workers. They help young people who require assistance with physical and mental health issues to find the right service to help with their difficulty.
how we can help?
the headspace YAT team may need to ask you a few questions to get to the bottom of your concern but this helps them to make the best assessment of your issues and find the best assistance for your difficulty. They can then get you help through referral to the ycentral clinics, counselling teams or other youth related programs.
what else do we do?
If the headspace YAT can't help you, they can help find someone else who can, and refer you on to another service.

ycentral is funded by NSW Health, through the Youth Mental Health Service Model-Central Coast pilot project. ycentral is managed by Central Coast Children and Young People's Mental Health (CYPMH). The purpose of ycentral is to provide a 'network' platform where a range of services focus on young people 12-25 years of age. Each service comes together in one location and is set up to cater to the young person's needs.
